Women in Film, the Black List Collaborate on Female TV Writer Workshop

For my first 'challenge' submission, I wanted to share an article about a television lab for female writers. Women in Film and the Black List are inviting eight non-professional female writers to participate in the lab. The screenplay submission period is open until May 15th. Even though I don't always create based solely on my female perspective (I usually collaborate with my three sons), I do realize the importance of "the need for women to have an inclusive voice, to be equally represented in the creative process." The lab will be a great opportunity for eight female writers. Those who qualify should definitely check it out...and best of luck for those that do!
