well, it's Monday, but the Red Sox just lost their home opener, so I needed this more today than yesterday :0P loved the image of pulling back through the trees.

How lovely and poignant. I kept thinking, "Please don't let anything bad happen to the children!" But instead this little film showed their innocence in a sweet way. Thank you for sharing!

@Jackie, well I think if it was a Lars von Trier film, they would have ran into the fire due to their early years existentialist angst. But phew! this is a Tarkovsky film and no children were harmed in the making of this movie! Glad you enjoyed it.
