Hi, my name is Melissa. I'm the mother of Hope Mackenzie Perry, a child actress & a self proclaimed dork! :-) She usually writes on here herself but she asked me to introduce her while she gets ready for her 2nd School of Rock preview show. This is her 1st time ever having a Lead Vocals, the last show she did Background Vocals. She's never been nervous when she acts, actually I've never in my life seen her nervous until now! Acting is Hope's #1 passion. She told us when she was 3 yrs. old that she was going to be an actress. She started acting & training when she was 5 & her passion grows every day. Hope goes to a magnet school for performing arts & Theatre Arts is her favorite class, then Vocal Music & dance. She also takes lots of acting classes, weekly vocal lessons & band rehersal & weekly dance classes. She's a huge horror movie lover & one of the biggest The Walking Dead Fans.
