Introduce Yourself : Traditionally Educated Screenwriter by Douglas M. Stich

I am NOT a creative writing major with a big dream who thinks he can navigate Hollywood with a lot of perseverance and good luck. I AM a traditionally educated Screenwriter with college degrees designed to teach me proper storytelling and formatting techniques specifically for Television, Film, Graphic Novels, and Video Games. I hold an MFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment, a BA in Screenwriting, and associate degrees in Business Management, Journalism, and Social & Behavioral Sciences. My career has exposed me to several different opportunities from medical laboratory work to High School Theatre Teacher/Director. My many experiences make me an ideal, unique candidate for dozens of related positions and industries but my true passion and expertise lies in Screenwriting. I have recently moved back to Los Angeles and am excited to join Stage 32 to network with working professionals and resume work in the entertainment industry.
