Hi everybody! My name is John Serafinko and I have been writing for as long as I can remember. I would love to contribute to any projects that would welcome my input. As far as writing resumes are concerned, this is mine. I haven’t won any awards as of yet because I have only recently began screenwriting, but I have completed Mila’s Shadow, a novel that I have written and published. It was published through Create Space and it is available on Barnes and Noble’s online retailer as well as Amazon and Kindle. That being said, the one screenplay I have written is a pilot that I submitted to the TV Writer’s Vault and has since been reviewed by Fox International. The pilot is a dark, drama with criminal elements, which is the genre I most enjoy creating for. I have also written and submitted television treatments for the reality sector. Other than that I’m a 38 year old New Yorker with a passion for writing, sports, gaming, and the film industry.
Hey John, this is Beth from the Stage 32 team. I just wanted to let you know I moved your post from Screenwriting to Introduce Yourself, as it fits much better there. Let me know if you have any questions, and all the best to you!
Welcome, John
Hi John, I am a writer, too, with a passion for gaming. I currently am working on a project in Las Vegas designed to combine both my worlds. We are restoring the Moulin Rouge Hotel & Casino along with the Harrison House where Sammy and other Black Entertainers had to stay because they were only allowed back in the day to entertain on the Strip, but not spend the night. We could use sponsors for the reunion on the 29th of May, and investors in this historical undertaking to turn the Moulin Rouge into a Multi-Cultural Center and Historical Museum bringing culture and life back to the 5th Ward and the strip of land the Moulin Rouge resided. I am so excited about this project. If any of you ever visited or performed or know our friend and activist Sarann personally, please join us in Las Vegas, NV on the 29th of May. Al B. Sure's family and our Moulin Rouge family will be jamming. Want to become a sponsor? Call me. 336-585-9212.
