My copyrighted screenplay "Hope Saves Manhattan " is ready for a Table read. I have the cast I don't have the space. I have made inquires to Shetler Studios as well as The Producers Club. The price is a little steep I am trying to stay at about $25 an hour for a 3 hour rental. There will be 22 actors, I would need (4) large tables and (30) chairs. If anyone knows of a place I would be grateful
Go to schools and asks for a free classrooms. Even a church basement. Contact a NYU Film Student?.

22 Actors is a lot for table read. Why can't the Actors reads more than 1 part? I'd slash it down to less than 10 Actors .
The Brooklyn main Public library has conference rooms u can rent for free. not sure of their Hours of operation

Hi Steven. You could also try La MaMa (http://lamama.org/). Might be a little cheaper than Shetler.
SHETLER STUDIOS: 244 W 54th St #12, New York, NY 10019 Producers' Club Theaters is a black box theater worth looking at: 358 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036
Minos -- Did you read my post? In my text I mentioned both.
Steve- why do you need 22 Actors to read your script?

I've done plenty of table reads... your actors will be bored. 2 or 3 tables? your Reading will get lost.. then u gotta deal with 22 egos. 22 people u have to wait for to show up. 22 headaches. all those minor roles can be read by 1 person.
Thank you for sharing. Best wishes on all your projects. With experience, strength and hope you will do well.
