All actors should check out agencies websites and see the stuff actors promote themselves with, and then make better choices. You don’t need to hire an expensive to do this, especially when you're new. People make the silliest choices and give themselves away in their photos. And we all become mind readers looking at them. “I don’t know what’s cool about me, but I can be in front of this American Flag. I’m all American, that’s a good selling point!” No. The product is always you. Don’t sell something else. “I feel I may be kind of boring and I want to stand out so I’m going to wear this exciting bright purple spotted shirt.” Great pic, are you selling shirts? Because that’s all I can friggin see! When a subject is confident enough in themselves to show themselves in a pic, that’s what shows. When a great photographer and great subject come together, any silly thing can be worn and still sell the person in all their great personality and glory. That’s the holy grail of photography. Now great photographers come replace the picture I took of myself. Thank you
