Hi there peoples of Stage32! Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi to the filmmaking community. I'm a filmmaker from Salisbury in the UK who has always loved films and for the past 8 years has (in some capacity) made films. I started making stop motion and moved into live action. I like interesting stories that are told well, that challenge my thinking and emotions. Or just make me laugh. Fav films include Amelie, Blade Runner, Super 8 and The Princess Bride. I'd ideally like to become a professional editor. I love every aspect of editing but I'm particularly fascinated by the meaning and higher emotion and ideas that can be created by putting two different images next to each other. At the moment I screenwrite and direct so I can edit (Salisbury isn't exactly a hive filmmaking activity) and in the process have learnt huge respect for these disciplines and some competence in them too. Hi, Joe! I know how it is to be far away from the filmmaking crowd. I live in Illinois in the U.S., and while it's a lovely place, my area is not Hollywood-esque by a long shot. But I've been working on a TV pilot/web series with a small independent group in the L.A. area for a while now. It's slow-going, but I love it. I'm a writer, producer and researcher. I'd love to hear more about your projects! Minda

Hi Joseph! Editing is so much fun, that's were I really start to apply my "colors" I've mixed and filmed into a story/canvas.
