Introduce Yourself : Independent Filmmaker for hire in Utah by Dave Hogan

Hello all! Seems that I am supposed to introduce myself, so here goes: My name is Dave Hogan, and I live about an hour south of Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm originally from Los Angeles where I worked in the feature and TV animation industry for about 15 years before getting sidetracked into IT. I've been in Utah for almost 8 years and have gotten back into filmmaking, working on three series of education films for Pearson Publishing, two animated shorts, and two live-action documentaries of my own. Additionally, I've done several one-off video projects for clients and I am working with an upstart sketch comedy group that is launching a YouTube channel. I mostly work in post - specifically editing and sound design - but I have also done motion graphics, directing and producing. I'm always wanting to learn and try on different hats, so I'm hoping that Stage32 will offer some educational and networking opportunities. Glad to be aboard!
