Greetings! I am opening a new transmedia production studio, Trans / Seven, with award-winning broadcast producer, Jon Lindgren, here in Houston Texas this next month. Our focus is on transmedia storytelling as expressed over full-motion video games, broadcast, web, and mobile app. If you are in the area and have a vested interest in any of these mediums, I would like to invite you over for a visit and a tour. Trans / Seven's goal is to have Houston become the transmedia capital of the US -- a goal that will take about 20 years to get too, but it starts now. Some of our partners include the University of Houston's College of Technology and the non-profit, DIREC. Our new website will be up in two weeks, so feel free to email me directly if you would like a tour. Cheers, KYS, kazapcorp@gmail.com
Congratulations on the opening of your new Transmedia business. How are you accepting submissions from voice over and on camera talent? I have talented friends whom I trained with at The University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts , whose family moved back to Houston, with a daughter who also studied acting and graduated from another university. I'd like to refer the mother and daughter to you. If your facility will use remote voice over talent, I'd love to submit my vo demos to be included in your inhouse talent roster. Thanks! Theresa Mignonne Daniels
Hi Theresa, I am always adding talent to my database. Your contact along with your friends is welcome. Please include a reel link. In terms of hiring VO, we do use talent on a fairly regular basis for both commercial and entertainment mediums. cheers, K
Hi Theresa, tell me more about the studio slate and what you're seeking
Hello Tanya Laird, I am a voice over performer, seeking new clients for opportunities for me to work. I posted my comment to Karen Snyder, as her new TransMedia production studio is opening in Houston, Texas. If your company in London also hires remote voice over talent for your projects, please let me know how to submit. Otherwise, if your post was meant for Karen Snyder, you'll need to contact her. Cheers! Theresa Mignonne Daniels
It warms my heart to learn of a passionate pioneer in my hometown. Wishing you tremendous success.
ah, sorry Theresa, clearly I didn't read properly, Karen, tell me more...
Why don't you come to next Houston Film Industry Meetup group on Tue Jul 12 at Sherlocks in the Carrilion. It is the largest film group in Houston. Contact Norman Fitts to let him know. BTW - I spend most of my time in the composing lounge - you can read my stuff there.
Hi Joel - Is there a Facebook page for that group? I'd love to join and/or be on the mailing list, please. I am a native Houstonian based in Los Angeles, but I get back as often as I can and at least during the Christmas holidays every year. Thanks!

Thank you, Joel. I have attended several meetings and value Norman's efforts. Brad, I used to work in Pasadena CA. Lovely city. Miss it along with most of LA. Next time you are in town, drop a line.
Tanya, we are developing transmedia marketing, education, entertainment and corporate training projects. The emphasis for transmedia production is on video production, full-motion video games (games with full video clips inside them), and gamification with a focus on mobile platforms. By working with the city and university, the goal is to formulate on-going entertainment and education projects that include corporate sponsor opportunities in addition to regular client work that is geared toward corporate training. What is going on in London in regards to transmedia? Are you working with the city in some manner?
