Introduce Yourself : Brand new! by Jeanette Williamson

Jeanette Williamson

Brand new!

Hi all, I'm a photographer, author, screenwriter, singer, huge reader and a psychic; not sure how that might change things, but its true none the less. I'm looking to connect and network with like minded individuals and maybe collaborate on some new projects. I've played the parts of Director of Photography, assistant director, wardrobe consultant, casting director, screenwriter, on set photographer, professional photographer, script supervisor, Author (of both fiction and poetry) and last minute (and disgruntled) extra. As for right now, I'm editing book 1 of the series i've written as well getting the pilots and pitches written for three separate television series that are currently my brainchildren. I'm looking to delve more into directing both television and music videos, writing both fiction and song lyrics. I also own a few small businesses (I'm a professional psychic/medium on top of everything else) and work full time at a day job (Corporate management); but I'm looking into relocating to LA as soon as i can. Thanks for reading!

Jorge J Prieto

Love reading you- it. Welcome to the Stage 32 family.

Jeanette Williamson

Thanks so much!

David E. Gates

Why do they have to advertise psychic fairs?

Jeanette Williamson

I'm not sure what you're implying David...?

Elisabeth Meier

Lol. As a creative psychic you're for sure at the right place. :)) Welcome to the club!

Nicholas Jordan

I will go with the psychic thing, his implication is that he does not understand why psychic do not advertise their fairs, which is because the people that have to be invited did not get the psychic invitation. ( humor for me and her )

Jorge J Prieto

Hey, my grandma was a psychic (a good one, she never charge) I wrote a paranormal screenplay , The Baby's Room, based on a story (really a dream)she had told me and she's in the story. Thanks, mama for all your unconditional love.

Patrick Howard

Thanks so much! You all have been really great! I really look forward to networking and connecting with you all. Made me feel very welcome! Best!

David E. Gates

I think Nicholas didn't get the gag I posted. If people were truly psychic, they wouldn't need to advertise psychic fairs. I believe that people believe they are psychics. And if that brings you comfort, then that's all well and good. If it causes misery and harm and exploits vulnerable people, especially those who've recently lost a loved one and who happen across someone who's good at "reading" (this is really all mediums/psychics are doing), then shame be upon them. Check out Derren Brown and James Randi if you want to see how they debunk the whole notion of psychics, mediums and people who claim they talk to the dead. If there were really ghosts, we'd have so much evidence it would be indisputable especially given the proliferation of CCTV and personal video cameras these days. But, as is the case with UFO's, we only have scratchy, poorly filmed, fake and explainable examples.

Jeanette Williamson

.... Psychic fairs are advertised for those who want to attend who are not psychics themselves.... Not for the psychics themselves... Probably why I didn't get it, cause it made no sense. And you are obviously entitled to your opinion, I've debunked psychics myself, but have never been debunked... however, this has been one of my jobs since I was 18... I'm in my 30's now and that is not the reason I am this page. I'm not here to discuss psychics and mediums and clairvoyants... This about screenwriting, filming, publishing, acting, directing and etc... So I will no longer reply to comments, especially the derogatory ones, regarding psychics or psychic fairs as it may be. Thank you!

Jorge J Prieto

David: I never seen or probably never see a ghost, however I do believe in spiritual world. I was given proof when someone who I loved very much passed and, my own mother knew, because this spirit form, told her that, exactly word for word what I was saying in prayers to my loved one who was in a coma. I never believed until that day. Now, I will never seek the advice of a psychic pay or free.

David E. Gates

LOL. If you're not here to discuss it, why mention it? Extensive experimentation to replicate psychic results in laboratory conditions have failed to find any precognitive phenomena in humans. Not a single psychic has been able to, under laboratory conditions, prove their abilities. Not one. If they could, they'd claim the $1m prize on offer. Yet no-one has. Not since the 60's when the prize was first offered. Odd that. (https://www.theguardian.com/science/2009/may/12/psychic-claims-james-ran...) And Jorge, Wikipedia provides reasoning for your experience: "A cold reading technique allows psychics to produce seemingly specific information about an individual from social cues and broad statements". Derren Brown does this incredibly well.
