Need Guidelines on Getting in Touch with a Screenwriter to Help Me Do an Adaptation of My Novel

I'm curious - how do I find /get a screenwriter to do an adaptation of my novel for television (miniseries or series) or as a feature film? I'm particularly interested in the film industry in Canada (Montreal and Toronto). My dream is to get my project on HBO, FOX or NBC in the USA even if it's shot in Canada. My project is entitled "International Student," a comedy about an African student who travels to the US for college and in the process becomes exposed to the extremes of its society and I play the main character, John Malinke. Please visit my Stage 32 page to watch two, short films I have produced and acted in as adaptations to some of the chapters.

Hi Jackai, I'd love to hear more about the project if you have time.

@Agata Zema, thank you so much. I felt somewhat hesitant to post that on the job board right now because I don't yet have the finances to be able to pay someone for the job. The only thing I can do for the time being is talk to any interested individuals about the project, share some of the reels with them and then find out how much they may be willing to accept as payment in case they were interested. I would also like to eventually mail a copy of the first part of the novel to those who may really be interested.
