I've been a professional movie reviewer since 1997 (www.screenit.com) and am a voting member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association. Studied under a college professor in the early '80s who churned out Hollywood writers and they read some of my scripts, but life got in the way and I eventually ended up where I am now. Would love to get back into writing screenplays.
Hi Jim. Good to have you here. You're definitely surrounded by your peers then. Your next move might be different depending on where you feel you stand with it, but there's so many creatives in the lounge you could ask for tips: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting There's definitely plenty of webinars that talk about all different type of topics in screenwriting: https://www.stage32.com/webinars/tag/screenwriting and of course there's Happy Writers which probably will come in handy once you have some scripts ready: https://www.stage32.com/happy-writers/pitch-sessions - from coverage to pitching to contests, they have you covered. Cheers.
