Nice to meet you too Tony. I'm in Montreal with the likihood to do a very low budget film once I get more employment. How has acting been for you?
Hey Martin, alas it's a slow progress. Since I started I've done 1 feature film , 2 short films, 1 promo and 4 music videos. Always pushing for more experience and opportunities. Hope your project takes off.
When did you start? I have experienced slow periods and that is how it is particularly for many anglophones in Quebec..then it would be easer I think if I were in our union...have you performed outside of the UK?
Actually I only started in April 2016, some guess you could say I've come a far way forward in a short space of time. Acting outside of uk is on my list but at present not viable. I'm always in two minds when it comes to unions, their a good idea in theory but in practise is where it goes wrong.
So for one year, you're making good progress in my opinion..I am still nonunion and it has been a matter of choice sometimes and sometimes not..we're in the same boat you might say..just keep plugging away and avoid being taken advantage of, the best way you can.
actually you've only neen at it fo a few months, so you're doing better than most. Good luck
