New to this Site

Hi. I'm a producer working out of Los Angeles. Joined Stage 32 last year after their presentation at Cannes. Still trying to figure out to how to use it. Yes, I'm old and technology-challenged, especially with this new computer and the god-awful Windows 10 on it. Been in the business for more than 25 years, most spent working in indie production companies. Got laid off a few years back and decided to start making my own. Currently have a feature in the festival circuit and 8 projects in development. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I'm also new to this site and LA (Burbank)! Just moved a couple of weeks ago, and would definitely be interested in working in one of your productions! Please let me known of any upcoming casting calls.

Colleen Keane

Thank you for the welcome. Stage 32's presentation at Cannes in 2015 was amazing. Hoping to meet some good people. Waiting on final word on financing for one of my films which will shoot in LA -- so Myri, I just might have something you can read for. Taking most of my productions out of town for the tax credits. And at least 2 are set in Europe.

Welcome to Stage, Colleen! It's great to have another pro, like yourself, to grow out our community. I have no doubt you'll meet some amazing people on the site :)

Sounds exciting! Looking forward to finding out more; let me know if you need me for any promo work to help get the financing as well!

LOL, Vincent. When I was working at Imagine, the writers Babaloo Mandel & Lowell Ganz named a character in a screenplay after me and I stood there until they changed it. Didn't want the whiny brat named after me...told them to name the tough girl after me and they said Colleen isn't a tough girl name.

Welcome, Colleen, ! Hope to see more posts from you as you get better acquainted with S-32.

What type of script you looking for?

Colleen Keane

I have everything from horror to sci fi to true story to jewel heist to car racing scripts in development now. I look for a well-crafted story that grabs interest and brings a twist to the genre all with interesting, believable characters. LOL...I guess that's asking for the moon & stars, yes?

Thanks for all the kind words regarding our panels at Cannes! There's some terrific advice in this thread already, so I'll just add that if you ever have any questions regarding all the resources and features Stage 32 has to offer, just click the ? at the upper right of your screen!

Stories with twists in the plot I have. New ideas for a genre I have. Believable characters? Hmm? I'll get back to you.

Colleen Keane
