Hi gang! I love all the "Introduce Yourself" postings. Such interesting and creative people! I'm a partner in a small press (Amphorae Publishing Group) and author of ORACLES OF DELPHI (under the pen name Marie Savage) and co-author of The Seeds Trilogy, including THE SOWING, THE REAPING, and THE HARVEST, with my two daughters. THE SOWING and THE PRELUDE, a novella of The Seeds Trilogy, have been optioned for film by Big Pictures Ranch, an independent film company whose films have won the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for Best Documentary, been selected as a New York Times Critics’ Pick, and shortlisted for an Academy Award. We're keeping fingers and toes crossed for this project! Also, I've adapted one feature-length film, The Field of Lost Shoes, into a novel. For those producers and directors out there looking to adapt novels to film, we've got some really great stories for you. :)

Aray - I checked out your profile and was interested to see you're in Louisville. I just moved to Tucson from St. Louis and have family in Louisville. Also, I love that you're dedicated to diversity in Hollywood! Our novels that have been optioned are YA/sci-fi and are set 250 (approx) years in the future. Our cast of characters is very diverse and our lead heroine is a young black woman and her love interest is a white guy. We've got folks of every shade and orientation. It's what makes the world go round. :)
