Book Proposal Just Got a 6-Figure Studio Deal

Studios leave no stone unturned looking for the next-big-thing: a book proposal just got a six-figure deal and the book isn't even written yet ... zombie story of course ... "The novel is being created by New York-based content developer Paper Lantern Lit, and it will be written by Alma Katsu, a former CIA analyst and author of The Taker. Publishing rights were just won in a pre-emptive six-figure deal by Sally Kim, editorial director of G.P. Putnam’s Sons (in her first acquisition at the imprint), and The Hunger will be published in early 2018." http://bit.ly/2b7qmwV

"Studios leave no stone unturned looking for the next-big-thing" - Well, clearly they don't look under the stones where other talent that's already produced something lives. :-)
