Well...that was...extremely nerve wrecking! We just did our very first Skype pitch with Kirsten Barnett, who was absolutely lovely and very supportive. Some things, we think were okay, others we wish we did differently obviously. You tend to forget things when you're very nervous...but what are some of the things you've picked up on that make a Skype Pitch succesful & what are the things you wish you would have done differently?

My first skype pitch was hilariously awful. But you get used to it! When youre pitching, pretend that youre just telling a friend something that happened to you over the weekend. Keep it casual, keep it conversational.

We do prefer to pitch fully clothed. That, of course is just a personal preference, haha!
fully clothed may mean different things to different people.

Gold lame spandex pedal pushers ---- and backless high heel mules. Even if the studio honcho does not see it, you'll know. And a bountiful spritz of Cartier perfume.

Hi Dorien and Evelien, well done, you did it and sounds like you did well even though you were nervous, that's something to be proud of :)
One is always a bit nervous -- I think that adds to the energy and fizz of the delivery. Well done, twins. Well done, twins.

Twins Is it necessary to pitch together? Perhaps one takes the lead?

In some cases one takes the lead, but we're usually prepared to the extend that we can switcharoo pretty good :)
