Screenwriting : Ryan Reynolds knows what time it is... by Shawn Speake

I've visited quite a few sets in my first year here and met a lot of wonderful creatives. Here's what I seeing: if your team doesn't have a solid script before shooting, chances are the project will not see completion. It took me years to realize, I had no idea what I didn't know: Screenwriting AND storycraft must be mastered. Don't let this be you. Shooting shorts because they're cool ideas is not storytelling, and there's no recovering from a horrible script. It's a waste of everyones' time. Get a ScreenWriter first, or you'll regret it.
