Your Stage : Theatrical Distribution Through Tugg by Abdullah Abu-Mahfouz

This is it! My first feature film is going to go to the big screen thanks to Tugg.com, which is a website that uses crowdsourcing to set up screenings with theaters around the USA. Some of the biggest lessons I learned by preparing for this is distribution, audience engagement, and audience building. I learned I had to start thinking about these and engaging in it from the very beginning of development. No more making films blindly! I also learned about some of the industries technicalities and legalities like: DCPs, EO insurance, sponsorships, partnerships, and chain of title.
