Introduce Yourself : Writer in Magic Realism, focused on entertainment, charity, and education for kids by Bob Rich

I'm an author/producer in Los Angeles. Drop me a line if you have an interest in entertainment, education, and charity for children and young adults. Soon I'll be releasing a novella that I co-wrote with musician BILL MAJOROS who goes by the stage name THE FOREIGN FILMS, who made the story's soundtrack. I will also soon publish my first children's book, illustrated with watercolor paintings. I've written over 100 short stories and over 100 poems. I often write in the style of Magic Realism. In 2013, I was chosen as one of 54 prizewinners, from 1,362 writers who submitted stories and poems, to be published in NAJI NAAMAN FOUNDATION's 2013 prizes' yearbook. I'm currently co-writing a promising script for a romantic-comedy feature film. I was a literacy intervention tutor at READING PARTNERS, where I supported elementary school kids in their reading skills for an entire school year. I was a copy editor and entertainment reviewer for THE TOLUCAN TIMES newspaper (circulation 125,000) from 2017 - 2019, where I interviewed authors and actors for feature articles, including producer MARC ZICREE who wrote THE TWILIGHT ZONE COMPANION and actress DAWN WELLS from GILLIGAN'S ISLAND. I was a biographer at STEVEN SPIELBERG's Holocaust history institute the SHOAH FOUNDATION (1995 - 1999), and I've also written biographical & promotional content for the AMERICAN RED CROSS's Restoring Family Links (missing persons) department for 14 years (2001 - 2005, 2009 - present). In 2003, I earned a national award at the AMERICAN RED CROSS for my highly successful outreach efforts. I've worked as a background actor for CENTRAL CASTING on over twenty TV shows including VEEP, THIS IS US, and NCIS.
