Introvert emerging

Hi! I'm Patricia Steffy. I'm new-ish to the site, and this is my first time posting. I watched a panel yesterday about the industry, and Stage 32 sounded like a great place for an introvert like me to meet other creatives. I'm a writer and producer who focuses on character driven pieces. My most serious dramas have comedic elements to them, and my most outrageous comedies usually have a serious element running through them. In the last couple of years I've published a collection of essays, completed the teaser for "Dating in LA and Other Urban Myths" and now have a feature script that is just going out. It's all simultaneously exciting and scary. Looking forward to meeting you all!

So glad you stepped out into the light, Patricia. Even more thrilled to hear that our National Screenwriters Day panel spurred you to do so. Thank you for the welcomes! Aray, "Dating in LA and Other Urban Myths" is a 10-episode web series, but I've also worked up a TV pilot should there be interest in taking it in that direction. It has been a lot of fun to work on, and we have had nothing but great people offering to help. Now we just need funding (who doesn't? ;) ). RB, It really was a great panel, and the medium article does sound right up my introverted alley (so to speak). Cheers to a great 2017 for all!
