In the past hour I received an e-mail indicating that my feature script, Nuclear Clowns, has been accepted into competition at the Beverly Hills Film Festival 2017. Love this fest and will enthusiastically be attending.
Another Stage 32ers in? If so, let's say hello at the fest.
Also, I'll be taking meetings for projects while there.
Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you fine folks in late April.

Well, could this be any funner (??) , I just received my Official Selection from Beverly Hills for my screenplay, "Learning Curb." What a compliment to be amongst such stiff competition. See you at the bar over there, Philip.

I also received a letter for my screenplay, "Victor" so cool! Any advice for your first film festival? Is there an initiation ritual I should be aware of?

BHFF will send out a series of e-mails. First time through it seems a bit overwhelming.
When the first e-mail comes to which they indicate you need to reply and type "I Agree" in the subject line, do that promptly!
If you have specific questions, please feel free to PM me. I'd be happy to answer them.
Lesley and I (yep, we're a couple) have been to BHFF many times and it has been very career advancing to me in many ways. Great fun. It's expensive to be in BH, but it is worth it. The gala banquet is a heap of fun. Bring nice duds. Great place to get some awesome pictures.
If you're going to go, always nice to stay at the host hotel or close to it.
