When you send a query email to a producer or agent to ask them to read your script, what subject do you use for the email?
I'm reading Max Adams' book on Kindle, "The New Screenwriter's Survival Guide", which is awesome (thanks to Dan MaxXx for the tip!), and it says that you should use the subject "Requested Material Enclosed" for an email if they request your script. What would you use for the first query email?
Thanks!
Scot
Awesome. Thank you!
Agree with Emile, brand your name when given opportunity. Subject line is really a powerful place to do it.

no no no. never ever say Query Letter in your subject heading. automatic trash. if you were referred by someone, say "Comedy script referred by ___". if no referral, but it won a contest or was finalist, say "Nicholl Finalist Title Here". or just use your title IF its a great title. You just need them to open tje email - they wont stop reading once its opened. But if it says query, they know its trash and dont have to open it.

Thanks, everyone.
The title is "420 Taco" so I'll use that. I think that will get some folks opening it. ;)

Scot,
Don't know if you're mailing out hard copies of your script, but do you remember the original Cheech & Chong Big Bambu album, that had rolling papers tucked inside? Maybe if you send out your script with.....uh.....never mind......

Buy one of those maps to the stars' houses. Fill your script with glitter so they remember who you are. Use a drone to fly it into their window. Pick up your Oscar.
