I'm an author of a novel about dolphins set in the South Pacific ocean 20 million years . One day I hope it will become an animated film. Why animated? I would prefer to die in poverty and obscurity than see them use trained dolphins for this story.

Jeff E. Gregory I did have the best and most respected and beloved agent in this country, New Zealand, and he was working hard to find me the right film company. But he died shortly after he got started. There is no-one in this country who can replace him.
However, before he died, he did actually succeed in catching the interest of one company and they have been in regular contact with me ever since. I have not signed any option yet though. I understand it takes many $millions to make an animated feature film, and that is what this film company would like to do with my story.
There is a very magical little story about what happened when the film-maker first laid eyes on the story. If anyone would like to hear it, I will tell you. It was so intriguing, it was actually printed on the cover of the Czech translation of the book.
