Screenwriting : Whose writing? by Raymond J. Negron

Raymond J. Negron

Whose writing?

I want to influence you ALL to write today and find time in your day " NO MATTER WHAT?" "To do what you said was important to you!" Find time to write: "Imperfect Action Prevails ladies and gents!"

On the subway train to work

Car pooling to work

During Lunch

5 frequent potty breaks of 6 minutes each = 30 minutes of writing, plus lunch that's an hr and a half that you got done. Wow!

* Wake up 1-2 hours early, just because you wanted to write "You said your writing is important to you."

Stay up late: Write 10p-1am. = 3 + 30 + 1 = 4.5 hours of Screenwriting

Call in sick make a day out of it

You handicapped: Write! SIt without choice and write!

After work! Tell everybody to "Fend for yourself!" Go to STarbucks or your favoritre Mom and Pop coffeeshop and do your deed dirt cheap

"Get Kyser Soze," with your writing!"

Be committed, stay comittted and go from discipline to bliscipline. I know you can do it! Encouraging you ALL to find time to write.

****Please NO Excuses, Reasons, Considerations, Fears, Roadblocks will be tolerated HERE!*** Okay, maybe a few! Sending you all love!

I believe in you all and "Sending you all green lights because red suck!"

Much Love, encouragement and empowerment to Write today. :) :0

Warm Regards,

But... I was going to level up my Warlord in "For Honor" today. :( I plan on going over my script notes for my fantasy spec tomorrow. ;) - Chris

Ally Shina

I'm busy reading your script. Just kidding, I'm getting some writing done too.

James Drago

Wrote all weekend. Also read 2 award winning screenplays. I consider that writing as well.

Awesome! Just got three hours in. I dod 1.5 hr timeblocks and then go for a maddening aggressive walk before the next Time Block. Awesome!

Jody Ellis

Are you seriously saying you write while in the bathroom at work? That would be considered stealing company time at my job. Not to mention...ew.

Shaunda Young

LOL...I guess you have to write when the ideas strike...

Dan MaxXx

cmon Jody! haven't you stolen posties, pens, paper from work for personal use? Heck, i come to work at 4:30am to use the xerox machine :) I can't afford $15 per script at Fedex/Kinko's.

Raymond J. Negron

"I always wash pre and pro to keep my writing on the flow yo, always on the go that's how I roll!" WOW!

Travis Sharp

I was tempted to start a post today asking you all to scold me into writing more. This will work, thank you sir.

Dan Guardino

Nowadays if I get an hour of writing done in a day I’m doing good. If I get two hours done it is a miracle. However, when I first started out I wrote a lot every day but then I learned you must market the damn things.

Jody Ellis

Agree w Dan. You have to spend just as much time networking and marketing as you do writing. Oftentimes more.

Craig D Griffiths

You have to spend time experiencing life or you have nothing to write about.

Raymond J. Negron

Yes, anything worthwhile is hard Aray. Yes, marketing your work is part of the name game. I'm making calls getting naked. Whose with me? Get writing. I did 3 hours so far.

Theresa Clark

And remember, you can always meditate and take a visual journey through your story, character, world, etc. (if it just so happens that you are without pen and paper or without a way to audibly record something. Stranger things have happened).

In a way, it's still "writing" because you're engaged "in it".

Dan Guardino

Screenwriting isn’t hard work but break into the business is.

Raymond J. Negron
