Hi Stage 32! Actors/Actresses/Collaborators for reel pieces in Los Angeles?

Hi everyone, I'm Darius, a filmmaker based in Los Angeles. I just spent 10 years not making my first feature film, realized I was running out of life, got with 4 friends, pulled out the credit cards and 16 months later it is now releasing on iTunes. Lesson learned: don't wait for opportunities, make them.

With the film done I wanted to get more involved in the Stage 32 community and networking in general before launching into my next feature.

I'm currently wrapping editing a Netflix Originals show for the next 4-5 weeks and after this want to collaborate and help create acting reels, short films, demo pieces, spec commercials, etc as part of expanding my directing/cinematography reel...Most demo reels are 10-30 second pieces, and I think it's a lot of fun creating "micro-shorts" for reels.

Truly inspiring, my friend. Congratulations on laying it on the line and pursuing your passion. Wishing you nothing but the best with the film. Great to hear you are looking to get more involved with the community as well. Hope you'll spend some time making posts in the Lounge.
