Introduce Yourself : Paul Day - Dreamer, aspiring Writer by Paul Day

Hey everyone,

I’ve been on Stage 32 for a while but not really used it properly, it’s about time that changed.

I have a degree in Film and Television screenwriting but it doesn’t hold much merit with myself as the course at my local University wasn’t very good and I feel I still don’t fully understand the craft as much as I should. I haven’t written anything of note since then, that was until the beginning of this year when I decided to kick my own arse and chase a dream. So far, I have completed a sitcom pilot and a feature length comedy film (the film still needs a bit more work but is currently on its 3rd draft). Both of which I am proud of.

I’m here because I don’t actually know what I’m doing and I need guidance! Aside from going back to University somewhere decent, where is the best place to start my professional journey?
