New to the site, I'm just another Sci-Fi/Action/Adventure Screenwriter trying to find a way to slip some spec' scripts into a world run by a Pre-existing fan base. Tips and Pointers are always welcome, nice to meet you all!!
Hi Heather! Writing a sci-fi script also! Tips. Network here. I've met so many helpful people since I joined including an accomplished producer currently reading one of my other screenplays. I also am a huge fan of the writing services here. The pitching and coverage notes have helped me cut so much time off the rewriting process and has also opened doors for me. Invite sent!
Book suggestions from a fellow 'Happy Writer": Reel to Deal by Dov S-S Simmons, Bankroll by Tom Malloy. These are books if you decide you want to be an independent filmmaker. Other wise the Stage 32 pitch sessions are always an option. I am 64 years old and have been a member since Tribeca 2015. Hope this helped.
