As a DGA UPM aka PRODUCTION MANAGER, 1st ASSISTANT DIRECTOR or non-union LINE PRODUCER you can count on my calm and cool demeanor to keep projects on time and budget. Comfortable working with financial & creative teammates, I can easily review legal contracts then quickly shift into scheduling and managing production.
I offer key skills in project development, budgeting, legal, insurance, scheduling, production prep, crew and equipment needs - all aspects of motion picture production, television, digital media, still photography, editorial and financial accounting. In fact I often create budgets from script breakdowns and preliminary schedules for business plans and project packaging.
Starting my career in a boutique production house in Philadelphia, I was fortunate to explore all positions in the studio, on location and in post production. Yet my long term goals lead me to Los Angeles to work with the world's premier talent. Over the years I've grown into a valuable utility player with strengths in production management.
My key talents continue to be an organizer, strategic thinker, team leader and field general, all the while focusing on creativity, quality and cost. I have the know-how to utilize most any piece of equipment or process. These skills provide me the confidence to offer innovative ideas, and sensible project supervision.
While not at work, photography provides an outlet for my creativity as does volunteering to help non-profits meet their goals. I'm always willing to spend an hour consulting with a student, intern or young professional. In my spare time, you'll find me exploring the outdoors, observing the bustling city or in the wilderness hiking and absorbing nature, exploring our wonderful planet earth.
