The 2017 Iconic Film Festival
Imagine Yo Creative Group, Beantown Statie Production Company, Corporate Power Productions in Conjunction with CPG CP Group are proud to announce the inaugural Iconic Film Festival 2017.
The 2017 Iconic Film Festival is a short film competition that provides rising directors in the New England and east Coast region the opportunity to showcase their masterpiece in front of actors, film lovers, music professionals and the general public.
This year's Iconic Film Festival will take place at Regent Theater in Arlington MA on Thursday October 26, 2017 .
All proceeds from the Iconic Film Festival will be donated to the Sarah’s Joy Foundation, a 503c1 non profit created in Honor of Sarah Iraheta, who succumbed to Cancer at age 32, leaving behind 2 young sons and her husband Eric. The Sarah’s Joy Foundation is dedicated to helping families in need affected by Cancer, youth programs and the community in General.
Tickets for the red carpet event and film festival are $20.00 per person and a portion of the ticket value is tax deductible. All tickets will be sold online and there will be no tickets on sale the night of the event.
In our inaugural year we will showcase independent short films. The guidelines for entering the festival are as followed.
The films have to be between 5-8 minutes in length. Any films submitted shorter that 5 minutes or longer than 8 will not qualify.
Films need to be submitted for consideration through Vimeo and be in a format if selected for submission into the Iconic Film Festival.
While films do not have to be officially rated to be entered, they must reasonably be within an “R” rating. No full frontal nudity of any type.
Films submitted must have all licensing for any music used or use all original music with the consent of the artists.
All films submitted remain the property of the original creators but consent is given to the Iconic Film Festival to use the nominees trailers for promotional purposes.
If you an independent filmmaker that dreams about premiering your creation on the big screen, submit your entry today to have a chance to have your film as an official selection in the 2017 Iconic Film Festival.
Following are the submission deadlines and fees
Early registration is $40.00 and must be submitted between July 20th to August 20, 2017.
Regular registration is $60.00 and must be submitted between July 21st and September 21st, 2017.
Late Registration is $80.00 and must be submitted between September 22nd and October 15th 2017.
There will be absolutely no submissions accepted after October 15th 2017 at midnight. Any late submissions will be returned unviewed.
To enter the Iconic film festival send the entrance application, along with the Vimeo link and password to iconicfilmfestival@gmail.com.
Once we receive your application and link, we will send you an invoice for the appropriate registration fee via paypal. The registration fee must be paid within 24 hours of submission via paypal to beantownstatie@gmail.com or the entry will be rejected.
The top three films will be awarded the following:
1st place – Feature in the cover of Beantown Statie’s very own e-magazine, The 411. An in-depth interview as well as a professional photoshoot, a segment on a local TV talk show, and a trailer featured on Beantown Statie's Vimeo channel
2nd place – free professional photoshoot for lead cast
3rd place- trailer featured on Beantown statie's Vimeo channel
The Iconic Film Festival will also be recognizing the following:
Best Lead actor and actress
Best supporting actor and actress
Best writing
Best directing
Best cinematography
Best editing
Best sound score
Best original song
Best set design
All Winners will received beautiful awards and be featured in the e-magazine as well as all other social media avenues.
