I submitted my script in Happy Writers to have the first ten pages read by a studio exec. It was none other than Regina Lee of New Line. Evidently she's a tough nut to crack. I was blown away when, in her feedback and confirmation from Allen at Stage 32, she would pass on the material but give me a consideration as the writer. Evidently I'm the first writer on Stage 32 to have been blessed with her acknowledgement and given a consideration. It was for my story, "Amber." It's the story of a child ghost who returns home to adopt living parents so she can have the childhood she always dreamed of. Wow, feel good moment. Now, if she would just read past the first ten pages! Arghh!!!
