Hi all,
Recently found Stage32 and having been writing and slogging away to get scripts in front of various UK agents/production companies thought I'd branch out a little and try to make connections with new people both at home and overseas.
Never been one to embrace the social media side of things, but who knows, maybe it's not as bad as all that !
I have 4 completed feature length screenplays to my name along with a recently completed teleplay crime drama, and a sitcom pilot which started it all.
I've gotten as far as having one of my screenplays "in development" but after the initial excitement, that came to an end when the Production company went under.
Since then it has seemed to get harder and harder to get work read by agents and production companies without past experience or success. Somewhat of a circle as how are writers supposed to get any success without people reading their work ? A head scratcher for sure !
Anyway, keen to connect with anyone and everyone in a similar position as well as companies actively seeking submissions.
Cheers
Steve

I hear you, man. I was writing scripts 20 years ago when I first started out that were making quarter and semifinalists in competitions. Reading them now, they were crap. The things I'm writing now are a hundred times better, and going nowhere. It is truly a curious business.
Nothing to really add but stay at it your ahead of most in the game and you have come to the right site. Good to meet you!
Hi Steve! Nice advice from Eric Paul Chapman & Mike W. Rogers
Nice to meet you.
Welcome, Steve.
