Newly joined and thought I'd take the opportunity to ask a question to the collective producers on the site.
As a screenwriter, is there any way Producers prefer to be approached in order to avoid the "no unsolicited submissions" standard reply ?
I'm based in the UK and am finding it harder and harder to get work in front of production companies (or agents). Is the US any different ?
Is there a resource available anywhere that companies publish what they are looking for at any given time ?
Thanks to anyone who can help and offer their own take on the issue and advice.

Have you tried InkTip.com and similar sites? Go to film festivals and meet the producers showing their films, particularly during the Q & A sessions held post-screening. Join some of the producer film groups on Facebook and attend their premieres near you, even the smaller ones, and meet the decision-makers in person..
Have you checked the services right here? Click Happy Writers on the menu bar. Been a game changer for me.
