Hello Stage 32 new and old members
I joined Stage 32 six years ago and since then I've managed to get in touch with several passionate people with whom sharing my visions and projects through my own trailers, concept art, screenplays, storyboards and soundtracks. In 2014 I started working on what would become my first American movie that quickly attracted the attention of many Stage 32 actors and filmmakers.
Indeed it was here on Stage 32 that I've laid the foundations of "New York, a venture" thanks to the connection with filmmaker Karen Goldfarb and the american actor Craig Williams, who accepted to play the lead role and introduced me to Kyrie Vickers who played the female protagonist. Despite the lack of a large budget and a film production support I was able to wrap up my daring vision in a few months by mainly investing in my own creative stubborness and in the actors determination to join it. I've submitted the movie to Tribeca Film Festival, Chicago Supernatural film festival, Vegas Indie Film Festival and other several indie film events.
The movie has been screened last Feburary at the first edition of "Movies4movies" film festival based in Dobbs Ferry, very close to the movie locations. Obviously I'm still looking for more public venues to screen it as well as my previous movies filmed in Rome and Tokyo to the widest possible audience, hopefully a way to find more and more people willing to be part of my own artistic "venture" for producing new movies in the very near future.
I've recently completed a new ambitious screenplay based upon my 6th novel in order to shoot a "mystery-fantasy" feature set in a very evocative and picturesque mountain location of Middle Italy and I'm planning to find new connections here to make it a reality, therefore stay tuned!
