Greetings, all! I'm an Intel engineer turned professional CLEAN comedian who has performed in 28 countries and for President Obama (see his comments here: https://vimeo.com/63621461), Hillary Clinton, Arianna Huffington, Steve Wozniak (my favorite), etc.
Two years ago, I had a traumatic brain injury when I fell and hit my head (at a gym called Crunch, seriously!), and after about 24 hours of brain surgery, I survived. It took eight months, but I fully recovered. I was inspired to write a sitcom pilot about an Intel engineer who has a brain injury, decides life is short and decides he wants to become a comedian. His father is totally against the idea but relents at the urging of his family, and lets his son open a clean comedy club in one of his commercial buildings, in a laundromat.
I'm looking for a team to help me get my pilot to a network, or one of the online channels such as Netflix. If I can't get a network to make it, I have the funds to shoot myself if necessary and would like to put together a team to help me with that as well. My script is fully copyrighted with the US copyright office and registered with the WGA, so I would be happy to send it to you. My contact information is on my website, below. If you have managed to read this far, thank you for your incredible patience! :-)

Awesome, Dan! Thanks for sharing! I'm just a humble composer, but I'll contact you, if that's OK... :)
Kimmy - just a word to the wise; Los Angles is L,A. but when you move north (to Superior) California. you'll be in San Francisco - not San Fran. The natives notice (i was one.)
Good luck Dan with the TV show. Fancy presentation but when marketing, try for balance when getting involved with politicians. If you lean too much to one side, you lose the other. Wise entertainers stay out of politics unless they beat up on all politicians as Will Rogers did. And he became a legend - also - give yourself a better break - you show a lot of intros - give us a few seconds of delivering material and the audience reaction.
Hi I'm a film and TV producer in Los Angeles - I am also the co-author of the quintessential book on the development process, "I Liked It, DIdn't Love It: Screenplay Development from the Inside Out" and a soup-to-nuts book on film festivals called "The Complete Filmmakers Guide to Film Festivals." In addition, I'm the co-founder of ESE Film Workshops Online (ESEFilmWorkshopsOnline.com) offering online courses with industry professionals that are not normally taught in film schools. I've not been so active on Stage 32 and thought I'd pop in and introduce myself - Good luck to everyone - it's a hard business but tenacity and perseverance as well as belief in your projects will help you travel the long trek up the hill.
