The bumper sticker on my car reads "I Make Horror Films Like A Girl", which comes in handy if anyone peers into my back window and sees whatever bloody props (or sometimes even live actors) that I happen to be transporting at the time.
I'm based in Florida, USA. I got my start in film by working in SFX on low-budget horror and dark comedy films. Recent work there includes "Dangerous People" , "One Night of Fear", and "Sitter". I still do this sort of work whenever I get a chance because I absolutely love it.
A few years ago I got talked into directing and did my first film on a budget that most closely resembles a frayed shoestring soaking in saltwater. Since then I've directed a few short projects and am currently in development for my second feature. My latest film, "The Family Way: Coming Home", is a short prologue to the feature I'm trying to get off the ground and has been doing pretty well in film festivals.
I can also call myself an award-winning screenwriter, as over the years I've racked up some awards from submitting screenplays into competitions.
Hello & Good Luck Shiva!
Great bumper sticker!
Hi Shiva. Would be funny if your car got pulled over for dodgy visuals. Welcome.
I haven't been pulled over, but an incident with a patrolman inspired me to start putting job-identifying stickers on my car. I had broken down and the officer stopped to give me assistance. Hand went straight to gun when he saw the bloody mess in the back of my SUV.
