Hello people of the post production world. How's everything going? I am currently in the works of making a up to date demo reel for my editing skills. What are some recommendations you would suggest that I put in my demo reel? I already have the idea of what I do first of all which is color correction, sfx/vfx editing. But a little something else to stand out.
I would suggest to put an entire scene or sequence. You can't really tell how good an editor is from short clips. I usually don't watch any demos but insist on the entire film. Within 5min I can decide if the editor is a right fit.
Okay. I will keep that i mind on the next one I do in a few months. Thanks!

If you're gunning for a picture editor job I would also separate your color correction / vfx reel. If I want to hire an editor for my precious film I would want a 'proper' editor.
