My name is Alston Jones and I am a filmmaker and animator living in Atlanta, GA. I have my MFA in Animation and a BA in Media Arts with a Film Studies minor. I have worked in a variety of capacities in film, television, and stage production. I am currently promoting a pilot script I wrote for a show named Charles Towne as well as other concepts. For an example of my produced work, check out my short film Be Better Than Equal here.

Excuse my language but that was fucking great!
Thanks! I really appreciate the compliment! I wrote and animated every bit of it myself! Please share it around to anyone you think would appreciate it! Here's a youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXPyauZ7tEQ

Very nicely done. Will we be seeing it on the West Coast festival circuit soon?
Thanks Doug! I actually entered it recently into the Northwest Animation Festival in Portland, Oregon but I haven't heard back if it was accepted. Sadly, as the film is a few years old, most festivals would consider it too old by their entry guidelines. It made it to a few festivals in the Southeast but I wasn't really able to afford to send it to as many fests as I wanted. That said, please share it with anyone who will watch it! The Youtube link is posted in my comment above. Thanks again and I'm glad you liked it!

Well, this is both AMAZING and stunningly relevant. Alston Jones Would you repost this in the Animation Lounge with a little blurb about your experience making it? I'd love to get a conversation going about your animation style, what choices you made and why: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/animation
