Hi I’m Dianne, an aspiring Scriptwriter and Director. Funny thing is years ago I never dreamed of entering this industry. I was just dead set on becoming a doctor. It didn’t work out. Anyway, this dream somehow started in 2013. I saw the musical Once and it made me want to become a scriptwriter. I had the chance to study scriptwriting on Reader’s Digest Writing Bootcamp for 3 months (Jan-Mar) but I never got to finish it. Still I’ve studied on my own.
On Mar 2014, I saw the Musical, Wicked, and it made me took up a Musical Theater Workshop for 2 months. At that time, I’ve got to write my first musical script but I never got to finish it too. Then at April 2016, I took another Musical Theater Workshop. My skills in acting improved, my interest on directing had grown, and I wanted badly to dance again.
Last December I started my writing my new script that I’m determined to finish this January. I really, really wanted to enter this industry. So I joined.
I look forward to learning more, improving my skills, and meeting new friends.
Have a great day!

It's nice to meet you all. Anyway, Migdalia, the workshop I attended focused only on Acting, Singing, Dancing, and Directing. I didn't learn how to Write a Musical. I just tried to write a story and included some songs and performances on the script like how they did it on Once. I'm afraid I might not be the one who can help you. But if you do have other questions, just ask. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Hi Dianne, keep pursuing your passion! 'Once' is such a beautiful musical, we are very proud of its success over here in Ireland ;) Saw 'The Greatest Showman' this weekend gone, have you seen it? Incredible too!

It's like playing whack-a-mole! Looks like Stage 32 is being infested with 'em. Maybe it's time for me to just wander off.
