Your Stage : What about song titles? Wacky Dubstep Inspired Cue For Despicable Me 2 by Jason Donnelly

Hey everyone. It took me a while to get this online I know it's old news. A while back my cue "Dusbtep Espionage" was used in a extra features video for Despicable Me 2 called Gadgets Galore featuring Steve Correll. Lots of folks just starting out ask me a lot of questions about the production music business one of which is how to get picked out of a sea of music options. Well I've had literally hundreds of songs placed over the past few years and I can honestly tell you of course who you know is key but also the actual title of a cue can sometimes help an editor choose your song. Of course the tune also has to fit the vibe but many tunes might fit that vibe you see. My tune Dubstep Espionage is a perfect example. I have others like for example my tune "God Knows" in the Beirut episode of Parts Unknown landed in a montage scene with footage of people praying one minute and then dancing in a nightclub the next.
