Welcome! I am planning to come to Chicago in the near future to do a Documentary on my Grandfather, Joe Jordan, World Renown, Ragtime Composer who worked with Charles Mott at the Pekin Theater in 1925 and built the Jordan Building and was considered the first Black Millionaire. www.hamptonu.edu ( Peabody Collection ). Will coordinate with Tim Samuelson, City of Chicago, Reginald Robinson, Ragtime Pianist and the Sag-Aftra office in Chicago that would also be a great resource for you! Sag-Aftra Chicago: 1 East Erie, Suite 650 Chicago, IL 60611 ( 312 ) 573-8081 Have Some Fun Today!

Linwood Bell

Tony...keep us posted on this. I'd be interested in his story and would like to learn more about your Grandfather.

Tony Ginn

Give your email address and will send his whole life story to consider as a collaborator. His Indie or Motion Picture " JOJO " is in Draft form! However, my debut Film the Robert Johnson Story " Man with the Blues " BIO PIC is budgeted at $3,750,00 under the Sag-Aftra Contracts covering Motion Pictures for Theatrical Markets! The most important is the Sound Track for the film of an entirely new version of all of his 41 Songs introducing a Female Singer akin to Bessie Smith that he wrote during the Great Depression over his short 27 years of life. He is the Original Delta Blues Man born in Tupelo, Mississippi where Elvis was also born, but, Elvis is not the King! Imagine, even though this would seem unfathomable, there are over $50+M Blues Musicians and Fan's Worldwide and a 4 CD Set selling at approximately $50. Do the Number's! I have reached out to several recording studio's to come on board, but, in every case, thus far, after asking for a budget to pull this off they always say " Show Me the Money " and they don't give a damn about my investment nor do they understand the ROI that will make them Millionaires. Also, when and not if, any Film Investor sees the merits of this Project they will negotiate and execute all Legal Contractual agreements with Gregory Crosby, Founder/CEO for www.Make-Believe-Entertainment.com! My goal is to set the Musical History straight give credit where it is do! I will send also!

Linwood Bell

I thank you kindly for the willingness to share with me. I can always be reached linwood@linwoodbell.com
