Oliver Swift- Screenwriter/Actor

Hi everyone, hope you're all well.

I'd just like to introduce myself a little bit - I'm a keen screenwriter and would love to get involved in as many projects as I can. I am about to graduate from Falmouth University in order to move to the big scary city that is London. Any advice would be appreciated.

Oliver...you will get out of Stage 32 what you put into it. Too many people here on the platform are just "joiners", they do not participate. Check for yourself...do a search on some random members and you will see all but a few have 'last visits' dating back several months if not years. Log in here regularly and connect with other professionals. Build your profile and work it. Not only will you establish some great contacts, you will move your career ahead. Good luck Oliver.

The wise one has spoken! I joined years ago and only now am I beginning to participate at all. But just in the last two days this has been so helpful! I'll be much more active from now on!

Oliver Swift

Thank you very much everyone - and Joe, thank you for the kind words. My aim is to help out as much as I can!

Rosalind Winton

The secret is to connect, connect, connect, networking is the key, good luck with all your endeavours.

Oliver, Welcome Aboard! When I was first beginning in this business - very young, such as yourself - I had the privilege of attending the Cannes Film Festival, where I saw Michael Winterbottom's Wonderland, his sort of love letter to London. (Though a native New Yorker, my family also lived in lived in London for three years or so in the late eighties.) But, Rosalind is right when she says, "connect, connect, connect, networking is the key." Absolutely. Having a good profile picture and a bio is also a nice start. And, build your credits on your IMDb page. YOU CAN DO IT! GOD BLESS and STAY FRESH! ;)

Hi Oliver, welcome. I'm Birmingham, UK. All of the above advice leaves me with little to say. Stage 32 is a great resource. Adam
