Finishing my feature HURT. HURT “swipes” (like you do on your smartphone or iPad) between several stories of young and older women who think Time’s Up, we have to act against sexual abuse. Like a Chinese woman who helps loyal other women to finally get justice from unpunished perpetrators. English spoken. No shot is assembled in a traditional way, it is an experimental search for innovation in storytelling that fits our swipe culture on our smartphones and iPads, where all those swiping images influence each other. Incidentally, the film was shot before the #MeToo and Time's Up "outbreak" with gifts of people, who also think time’s up, show it in a movie (that may shock you). We may get some finishing subsidies from the Dutch film fund, if we can show them some events, where the movie can be/will be shown in the next 6 months. Any suggestions?
Hey Paul,have been thinking. Maybe check filmfreeway.com. and select "open only". Not sure if the film is completely finished when you submit it to a festival/screening event? Or call a few 'filmhuizen' in het Gooi -- The Netherlands.
