Introduce Yourself : Novelist, Overworked Publisher, & Screenwriter by David Niall Wilson

Novelist, Overworked Publisher, & Screenwriter

Just a quick note to introduce myself. I've been writing for going on three decades. I've written novels for Star Trek and Star Gate, and done phone pitches for Star Trek Voyager and DS9 - one of which I actually got paid for, though they didn't use the idea as I pitched it. I've written one produced screenplay (outlined and created by Rosanna Jeran) - written the pilot and several episodes of a sci-fi series that never quite got produced, wrote the first ever 140 character at a time screenplay on Twitter (Killer Green) that was optioned, but, sadly, as is so often the case, was never produced. Several of my books have also been optioned, but with the same result. I have a handful of completed screenplays, some series pitches, and a desire to find a way to slot pitching those projects into the life of a publisher with 1600 titles and 250 authors to keep happy. Oh, and I have a day job...
