Some wonderful new developments in my screenwriting career:
1) A feature I wrote, The Last Earth Girl, is in final post-production and should be on the festival circuit later this year. I adapted the screenplay from a short story my eldest daughter wrote for a college course in Psychology and Religion.
2) My directorial debut short, Memento Mori, has been accepted into two film festivals for April: the Polly Jasper Film Festival in Morgan Hill, CA, on April 5, and the Bare Bones Independent Film Festival in Muskogee, OK, on April 28. I wrote, produced and directed this story of a night in the life of Charon, the ferryman who takes souls across to the afterlife.
3) I'm preparing to direct another short I wrote, Wet Rot. This horror story had a successful live read in Los Angeles last October.
