I am developing a pilot for a period thriller. We are seeking 100k, and plan to start filming in mid-May/June.
Once pilot episode is complete, we intend to shop it around to networks, particularly Hulu, Amazon, and Showtime.
ROI, script and other details available upon request.
Question...is the $100k for the pilot cover above and below the line? Do you have an idea of budgets for future episodes?
Also, have you thought about doing it for shoestring and putting it out and promoting it through YouTube or Vimeo?
