The contest is looking for scripts that have appeal in both China and the USA and it's designed to promote cross cultural collaboration. Statistically, I've now got a one in thirty-one chance of an option deal via this contest given the 62 scripts in the semifinals and two options to be awarded. (I've also got four different producers currently reading the same script, a contained action thriller I call "VERTICAL.")
