Introduce Yourself : Hi again by Chip Street

Hm... what's new since last time I checked in?

I'm an indie screenwriter and story consultant -- a gray-hair 50-something working from outside L.A. :)

My sold screenplay (Rocket Summer) is lost in development hell, unfortunately, but I still have hopes for it. In the meantime, I also do consultations, polishes, doctoring, and ghostwriting.

I've still got an awesome creature feature and a great family road trip screenplay available if anyone's looking... :D

Last year I wrote 24 short screenplays (for training scenarios -- actors portraying best practices in new skills) for a distance learning company -- about 600 pages -- and hopefully will begin work on more soon this year.

I'm currently working with a production company in India to write the screenplay for a feature animated fantasy adventure film.

And I'm also writing an Interactive Fiction novella for a mobile app developer in Moscow... my first stab at this genre and I'm learning a lot. It's definitely a different animal.

Before that, I did a complete top-to-bottom collab and polish on a thriller script called The Monarch Project, which then went on to be a Quarter Finalist at Cinequest, a Semi-Finalist at Slamdance, and a Top 20% finisher at Austin Film Fest. It's since garnered the interest of several producers.

Hoping to launch a small prodco here in my area later this year focused on nanobudget genre films designed for streaming release.
