Screenwriting : American Zoetrope Screenplay Contest by Nina Berlin

I entered a pilot a few years back but didn't place. The contests says that Francis Ford Coppola reads the top ten screenplays and picks the winner.

I've entered twice before. Neither one even placed, even though one had won in another contest. So I'm not sure what they are looking for.

If you do not have a named talent, attached to your work it is almost impossible to get any production company to even read it.
